Senegal, located in West Africa with 13 million people, shares a border with Guinea where the ebola virus has raged since March. Yet, amazingly, there has only been one reported case in the country, a student in Guinea who returned to Senegal, who has now reportedly recovered. Here, Senegalese journalist Mortalla Diop explains how the country has pulled off the incredible feat of staying almost entirely ebola-free.
